OUR MISSION

Raised Expectation stencils were created in hopes of bringing a fresh look and perspective in design and function to the stencil market. While it is literally impossible to cover all the bases, I have tried, and will continue to try and fill as broad a spectrum as possible with as much creativity as possible.

I have been an artist my entire life; and not just adult life. I remember doodling on the phone book at my grandparent's house when I was about four years old, and thinking to myself that I was going to be an artist. I will say that it was genetic, as my Mother, Margaret Parker Neyland, was a fantastic artist. Much better than myself; she was in fashion illustration, designed children's books, and was equally capable in oil, water colors, or pastels. Magnolias were her favorite subject.

Another very capable and talented woman who's talent has made this stencil line possible is Renee Brobst. We met while working together at an ad agency in Kansas City, and thank God she stayed in that field of creativity, as she is the one responsible for what I think is a great image for Raised Expectations on this web site, as well as all my other marketing materials.Renee still lives in KC, while I live in Florida, but her long distance diligence has kept me in line and focused on the challenge of starting a new company. You will hear more from Renee in the future of Raised Expectations.
